RESCOLL is involved in STUNNING demonstrator testing

In the frame of MECATESTERS project funded by CLEAN SKY, RESCOLL has performed mechanical tests of welded coupons of thermoplastic composites in order to validate the quality of several welded processes from KVE and GKN FOKKER.

During this project, RESCOLL mechanical team developed specific tests adapted to welded specimens as from simple configuration such as single lap shear to complex tests such as toughness (mode I et II). In another hand, creep and fatigue tests were done in immersion in skydrol.

These tests demonstrates the high quality of the different welded processes used for STUNNING demonstrator.
