RESCOLL participates in the foundation of the ECP : European Composites, Plastics and Polymer Processing Platform

ECP has started drafting a vision paper on the innovation needs for the plastics & composites converting industry in Europe. The time has come to try to coordinate a new network in Europe and enhance cooperation to the benefit of all parties, industry, associations, academia and researchers.
Members of this new association will be organizations with a key interest in participating in EU funded projects and developing new ideas for the plastics converting industry with a clear objective of keeping the plastics « manufacturing » industry competitive in Europe.
RESCOLL is an interested party for this new European network.
The main objective of the new Platform will be to improve the competitiveness and innovation potential of the European plastic converting sector by increasing visibility and awareness for the urgent needs of this sector for research and development. With this initiative this sector wants to make substantial contributions to the Europe 2020 aims of the European Union.
This European Platform will be structured through the collaboration of the industrial sector, research organisations and Regional & National Clusters.
