SAMPE Europe 2019: strong participation of RESCOLLRescoll'Blog / 4 septembre 2019
SAMPE is a general organization dedicated to promoting technical excellence in materials and process engineering, with a membership of approximately 15,000 engineers, technologists and materials specialists. It was founded in 1944 by Californian aerospace engineers with the aim of creating a professional network and improving the exchange of technical information. Since then, SAMPE has spread all over the world. In Europe, SAMPE develops activities in more than 25 countries, organised mainly in national associations such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain,…
This year, the meetings organized by SAMPE Europe (Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering) will take place on 17, 18 and 19 September at the Cité de Congrès in Nantes. RESCOLL is one of the sponsors of this event.
The main topic of this year's conferences is focused on the repair of composite materials. It is in this context that, in the session devoted to bonding assemblies, RESCOLL presents two conferences on studies we are carrying out on the:
– "Non-Destructive Evaluation of the mechanical strength of structural bondings using LASAT" by Tomas Bergara and
– "Dismantling on command of structural bonded joints, a solution for maintenance and end-of-life issues" by Maxime Olive.
These two conferences will therefore deal with two technological barriers that professionals in the field of bonding assembly are currently facing and which represent an obstacle to the development of this technology.
RESCOLL will have a stand in the business village where you will be able to exchange with our specialists and learn more about RESCOLL's skills, know-how and services.
